Engr. Prof. Kehinde Adekunbi Taiwo

TAIWO, Kehinde Adekunbi is a Professor of Food Engineering in the Department of Food Science and Technology, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She has a B.Sc in Food Sci & Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D in Agric. Engineering and is involved in Gender and Policy studies and Technology management and Policy studies. She has won several fellowships, grants, and awards (AvH, DAAD, ACU, OAU, NACETEM, IDRC, etc.). She has participated in at least 13 donor-sponsored projects and acquired relevant Research Management skills. She was appointed full Professor in 2006. She has over 180 publications and successfully supervised 11 PhDs, 24 M.Sc. and many undergraduate students. In the 2008, 2015 and 2022 webometric rankings, she was listed among the top 10 researchers in OAU. She has served as the Dean Faculty of Technology, Director, University Research Office, Director of the Linkages & Partnership Unit in OAU amongst others. She has over 140 conference attendance. Prof Taiwo has over 36 years of teaching and research experience. She is a Fellow of the following bodies: Nigerian Academy of Engineering, Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers, the African Scientific Institute, and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and is registered with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN). She has mentored many staff and students and is a long-standing Sunday School teacher. She is a well sought after conference and keynote speaker and has been awarded more than 40 awards of recognition.
